I need the correlation chart for Being a Reader that goes with Fountas and Pinnell. I only see the correlation I through P. I need F&P levels A-H.
The books in Set 1-5 were developed to correspond to the scope and sequence of phonics and high-frequency word instruction. These controlled-vocabulary texts provide students with specific practice of already instructed concepts. Writing and illustrating the books allowed CCC to incorporate the systematic practice into rich literacy experiences.
With that said, these books are not correlated to Fountas and Pinnell levels because their design. We do know that students who complete who complete set 3 should be reading at approximately a level D or above and students who complete set 5 should be reading at a level J or above.
