Mallery Erickson
Mallery Erickson
Manager of Educational Partnerships
DC, Kentucky, Virginia, West Virginia
Mallery’s love of language and literacy began with her own experience as a Spanish immersion student and has remained a constant throughout her career. Her background spans middle school multilingual education, instructional coaching, mentoring future educators as Clinical Faculty, leading professional learning and implementation, and building partnerships through her work in EdTech.
Through her work, Mallery has seen firsthand how vital strong foundational language and literacy instruction is, particularly for older students, in building the skills and independence they need to access increasingly complex content and make their voices heard. She believes every child brings strengths, a unique perspective, and a story worth sharing, and is equally passionate about supporting the educators who make that possible.
A James Madison University “double-Duke,” Mallery holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Spanish/ESOL Education, with a minor in Communication Studies and additional graduate coursework in Organizational Leadership. A lifelong Virginian, she lives in the Shenandoah Valley with her family and two high-energy golden retrievers.
