Regional Director

After 15 years serving as both a classroom teacher and vice principal in California, Roxanne joined Collaborative Classroom in 2023 as a Manager of Educational Partnerships for the Greater Bay Area and is now Regional Director of the West. Roxanne has dedicated her career to disrupting harmful school systems and redesigning innovative learning spaces that cultivate equitable opportunities and life choices for young people. Deeply rooted in liberation, transformation, and relationships, Roxanne believes that all students deserve access to high quality, evidence-based literacy instruction that supports not only their reading development, but that nurtures and grows the whole child. Roxanne received her BA from Loyola Marymount University, her Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Mills College, and in 2019 was selected as a Surge Institute fellow. Outside of work, Roxanne is an avid traveler, enjoys the outdoors, and loves to eat her way through any new place she visits!
