Valerie Michaels

Valerie Michaels is Collaborative Classroom’s Manager of Educational Partnerships in Western New York. Valerie has worked in education since 1993 and her experiences include: Instructional Coach, Classroom Teacher, Reading Interventionist, and SIPPS Learning Consultant.

Valerie earned her M.Ed in Literacy from Clarion University of PA and a BS in Elementary Education from The State University of NY at Geneseo. She is also a National Board-Certified Teacher in Literacy.  Valerie is very passionate about supporting educators in literacy education so that students can reach their full potential.
