Center for the Collaborative Classroom, a nonprofit educational organization dedicated to providing curricula that support the academic, ethical, social, and emotional development of children, today announced three new appointments to its Board of Trustees.
“Our programs and materials are reaching more teachers and students every year,” said Ken Doane, Board Chair. “As we grow, we call on the diverse perspectives and broad expertise of our Trustees to guide our organization and advance our mission to ensure that students across the U.S. thrive both in and out of the classroom.”
The new Trustees are:
“Collaborative Classroom is focused on helping educators integrate core reading, writing, and listening skills with social and emotional learning that will empower students to be more effective contributors in their classrooms today and in their workplaces and communities tomorrow,” said Roger King, President and CEO. “Zaretta, Ginny, and Louis are all well versed in the world of education and have played important roles in the growth and development of schools and the children and communities they serve. We are fortunate to have them join our team.”
