Leona Hunt is a Professional Learning Lead Consultant for The Center for theCollaborative Classroom. Her experience as a school administrator, academic coach, and classroom teacher brings depth to her perspective when working with schools. Leona is passionate about engaging the learner–whether adult or child–through discovery and personal connection. Her goal is to bring meaning and relevance in all professional learning. She has taught gifted students at a National Blue Ribbon school and eager, striving readers in a struggling, Title One school. Through these various experiences, Leona draws upon a wide-range of effective strategies while problem solving with school personnel. Leona holds a bachelor’s degree in elementary education, a master’s degree in reading and literacy, and an Educational Specialist’s degree in educational leadership
