Maria Arnett

Maria Arnett is the Regional Director of the Mid-Atlantic at Center for the Collaborative Classroom.

She received her M.Ed. from the University of Virginia and has close to 20 years of experience as a classroom teacher, reading specialist, and instructional specialist. Her role in both school- and district-level positions was to support curriculum implementation and provide high-quality professional development for teachers and administrators. Maria’s experience as a literacy coach ignited her passion for deepening teacher understanding of research-based literacy instruction to ensure equitable access for students. She is an active member of Learning Forward Virginia and resides in Virginia Beach where she enjoys spending time at the beach with her husband and son.
