Paula Kavalec, M.Ed., joined Collaborative Classroom in 2022 as the Manager of Educational Partnerships for Colorado and New Mexico. Paula began her career as a Title One interventionist and has been in education for the past 16 years. She has served as a teacher for grades 2 through 6 and held several school administration positions. Paula is a retired military spouse and mom to three adult children. She lives in Colorado Springs and loves to hike, bike, ski and scrapbook. Paula’s passion lies in developing close and lasting relationships and she loves to socialize and laugh! Paula earned a B.H.S. at Campbell University, an M.Ed. in Elementary Education at Regis University and an M.Ed. in Educational Leadership as well as her administrator license through the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. She is currently a doctoral candidate at Liberty University in strategic leadership. Her administrative career was a highlight and she thrived in leading a small rural school full of dedicated educators who did what was best for kids and were strong through the most tumultuous COVID-19 period. Paula continues her commitment to educators, leaders and students by ensuring that all students become critical readers, writers, and thinkers through supporting and empowering teachers with the right tools for success.
