Terri Mehlhaff

Terri Mehlhaff, Ed.S., joined Collaborative Classroom in 2024 as Manager of Educational Partnerships for North Dakota and South Dakota. 

Before joining Collaborative Classroom, Terri served as an educational specialist in Standards, Learning and Leadership for the South Dakota Department of Education. Her teaching career of over 10 years included elementary and early childhood special education across South Dakota. While teaching, she earned a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction in Literacy.

Terri decided to follow her interest in educational leadership, delving deeper into the field by pursuing her Specialist in Educational Administration through the University of South Dakota. She served as the elementary principal, special education director, and Title I Director for Stanley County School District. Terri now brings her unique experiences and knowledge to Collaborative Classroom to continue her passion for educational leadership, helping others continue to learn, and supporting students. 

Terri and her husband live in South Dakota with their teenage son.
