Teresa Marchek brings over 20 years of experience turning ideas into successful products across healthcare, education, and technology. As Co-Founder and Head of Product at Blank Metal, an AI-native professional services firm, she helps organizations move AI initiatives from concept to production—navigating the complexities of emerging technology with strategic clarity and business discipline.
Throughout her career, Teresa has led product teams that launched technology-driven services in highly regulated industries. At NMDP (formerly Be The Match), she built products that improved donor matching and engagement. At Capella Education, she developed digital learning solutions that enhanced student outcomes. Her work consistently demonstrates an ability to shepherd innovations from inception through market adoption, always with an eye toward measurable impact and scalability.
Teresa’s board service reflects her commitment to governance across diverse sectors. She has served on the fiduciary boards of Reflection Sciences (2019–2023) and Hunhu Healthcare (2015–2020), where she provided strategic oversight on product development and growth initiatives. Her advisory board work includes ClinicianNexus (2018–2021) and the Carlson School of Management’s Institute for Research in Marketing. In the nonprofit space, she served on the board of EdNorth (2016–2023), advancing education innovation across Minnesota.
A passionate advocate for entrepreneurship, Teresa has served as a mentor for Springboard Enterprises since 2016 and as a judge for the Minnesota Cup since 2014. Her work with EdNorth and the Minnesota Cup included helping to create a new education division, expanding opportunities for education-focused startups across the state.
